Auditions for “Winnie-the-Pooh”

Winnie-the-Pooh, directed by Tara Acton

Based on the story by A.A. Milne.  Adapted for the stage by Kristin Sergel

Join all of our childhood friends – Christopher Robin, Kanga, Roo, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and Owl, and of course – the Bear of Very Little Brain himself, Pooh – and follow their adventures.

Cast of Characters:

Christopher Robin, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, Narrator, residents of the forest.

Performances are at The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts 

REHEARSALS BEGIN FEBRUARY 5 and will typically run Monday through Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at The Coralville United Methodist Church.

TECH WEEK ( MARCH 18 – MARCH 22) rehearsals will be held at The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.  Participation in Tech Week and all performances are mandatory to participate in the show.  Detailed rehearsal schedules will be given upon casting.

PERFORMANCES

Friday, March 23 @ 7:00pm;   Saturday, March 24 @ 7:00pm;  Sunday, March 25 @ 2:00pm

AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE.  Auditions will be held in the lower level of the Coralville Library during the following scheduled times:

Friday, January 19 from 4pm to 6pm  and  Saturday, January 20 from 9am to 4pm

What you will need to bring to the audition:

  1. A completely filled out audition form click here..
  2. A memorized 1 to 2 minute monologue if you are interested in a larger speaking role.
  3. You may be asked to read from the script or do some improvisation.  You do not have to prepare for that .
  4. Walk ups are always welcome but priority will be given to those who sign up for a time slot.
